Configuring a basic computer network can appear very daunting with stuff you have to learn about such as TCPIP, NICs, switches, routers and IP addresses but in reality creating a small basic network is not hard. It is not expensive either which is why having a small business or even home based LAN (local area network) is becoming an attractive proposition to many people.
